GriefShare: A Journey from Mourning to Joy!
Next Session Begins: Sunday, January 17th
2:30 - 4:30 PM in Room A134 (Boardroom)
GriefShare is a special seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of a spouse, child, family member or friend. The sessions are conducted by lay people who not only understand what it is like to lose someone, but who also are specially trained to offer comfort and encouragement during this difficult time.
Each GriefShare session includes a video and group discussion. A GriefShare workbook assists the participant with note taking, keeping a journal and grief study. The videos feature top experts on grief recovery, dramatic re-enactments about living with grief and real-life stories of people who have experienced losses like those of the participants.
During the small group discussion time, participants have the opportunity to interact with others who have experienced a loss, learn about their experiences and share their own stories.
GriefShare is a nondenominational ministry. It is Christ-centered and biblically-based. Those who wish to join the group can begin at any session. (There is a one time cost of $15 for materials.)
