Stephen Ministers greatly multiply the pastoral care our church offers to our congregation. Are You Called to Minister to Others? Stephen Ministry, grounded in Jesus' command to love one another and bear one another's burdens, is one way that we at Ocean Drive fulfill our mission of preparing members for ministry. Fifty hours of formal training, followed by regular sessions of continuing education and supervision, equip individuals to supplement the work of our pastoral staff by giving confidential one-on-one care to members during times of need.
